All you need is just a little

patieeence.... *insert whistling interlude here*

if any of you recognize this Guns and Roses song--props to you!!

Seriously though--

these two love birds are sooo just that. I took their photos--a little mini session--way back last summer as a birthday gift. I am just now getting these up here and burned off for them. Have I mentioned it has been a BUSY season?! Lol...thanks to my patient friends P and J...you guys are too sweet!

Last Look of Autumn...

I think this was one of the last shoots with pretty fall leaves on the gound, and we are not seeing our own breath. It was pretty chilly out however, and these guys really were troopers! This is a friend/coworker of my husband and her family. We shot at a new location near their home. We actually went to dinner at a Chinese restaurant afterwards and warmed up with hot tea and soup--yumm! Here is a sneak peek for you all--the rest will be finished soon after the Thanksgiving holiday!

If the whole world...

" If the whole world were put into one scale, and my mother in the other, the whole world would kick the beam. " ~Lord Langdale (Henry Bickersteth)

This is a dear and cherished friend of mine. I absolutely love to photograph her son! He and my son are two weeks apart and have and will grace this blog frequently. I recently had the opportunity to photograph her, her sister, her mother, and 'the boys'. Ü So fun!

These next photos really spoke to me. They reminded me of the qoute above.

Thank you ~A~ and family--your photos are on their way!

Nanny Dearest...

So--this special session was with the great lady who watches my kids during the day, and her sweet little family. Also--she is the sister to Mrs. 'S' from the previous post. Cool--huh?

Here are some of my favorites from our time together.

Shhhh...fairies! I was playing around and ended up with this one. What do you think? It is a little bit outside of 'me', but was fun none-the-less.

Photo Swap!

So the sweet and spunky Brooke of Brooke Jantz Photography and I had a session swap a couple of weeks ago. She did photos for me of my family, and I got to shoot her and her husband. To top it all off--they had just celebrated their 10th anniversary! (Congrats!!)

Here are some of my favorites from the trade. Thanks again Brooke!

You can view some of the photos that she did of us at www.brookejantzphotography.blogspot.com .
